IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Week 16

  • Pictures from the field trip (1, 2).  Enjoy the break!
  • The final exam is on Thursday, December 16, 8-11am in 102 Moffitt.
  • Check your current scores here. Please report any inaccuracies by Thursday 12/16 at 8am (no grade changes after the final!).  You can pick up all the remaining exams/project reports/homeworks from Rosita.
  • here will be a review session on Tuesday, December 14, 9:30-11 in 3 Evans.
  • The TA's will hold an office hour on Tuesday from 4:30PM to 5:30PM and Wednesday from 12:00PM to 1:00PM in 353 Cory.

Week 15

  • Visit to AMD is on December 7.  We will meet in the Hearst Mining Circle at 7:45am, and bus leaves at 8 (sharp).
    We will depart Sunnyvale by 3pm (and be back at 4).  There will be a lunch provided there.  Also, multiple 
    groups there will be collecting resumes - bring a few if you are interested in a job.
  • Homework #10 (Word | PDF) is due Friday, 12/10 by 5pm, drop box in 240 Cory.

Week 14

  • Follow the instructions to create your poster.  (files you need: ee141_yourname.ppt  and  poster_template.ppt) 
  • Project phase 4 is due on Thursday 12/2 by 9am.  Poster presentations are 9:30-11am in Berkeley Wireless Research Center, 2106 Allston Way, downtown Berkeley (1 block from campus).

Week 13

  • Project phase 3 is due on Wednesday, 11/24 at 5pm.
  • No class on Thursday 11/25 - Happy Thanksgiving!

Week 12

  • Homework #9 (Word | PDF) is due Tuesday, 11/30 by 5pm, drop box in 240 Cory.
  • Midterm 2 is on Tuesday, 11/16 in class.
  • Project phase 3 is due on Wednesday November 24.

Week 11

  • A review session will be held on Friday 11/12 5-6:30pm in 3106 Etcheverry.
  • Prof. Nikolic will not be holding an office hour on Monday 11/8.
  • Thursday is Veterans' Day - no class/lab.
  • Phase 2 of the project is due Wednesday, November 10.

Week 10

  • Homework #8 (Word | PDF) is due Friday, 11/12 by 5pm, drop box in 240 Cory.
  • There is a post on the newsgroup regarding Precharge and Write Circuitry sizing.
  • Qiaolin suggested a paper on decoder sizing. It's now on the project page.
  • Phase 2 of the project is due Wednesday, November 10.
  • Phase 1 of the project is due November 2.  Here is the report template.
  • Stanley's office hour is shifted to pm 3:30-4:30 on Tuesday this week.

Week 8

  • Project is posted. Phase 1 is due on Tuesday, November 2, at 5 pm.
  • Homework #7 (Word | PDF) is due Thursday, 10/28 by 5pm, drop box in 240 Cory.
  • No lab this week.
  • Prof. Nikolic will not be holding an office hour on Monday 10/18.
  • Midterm 1 is on Tue 10/19 in class. 

Week 7

  • No homework this week.
  • There will be a review session for Midterm 1 in the Hogan room (521 Cory) from 5-6pm on Fri 10/15. 

Week 6

  • Cadence 5.0.33 is running on cory, c199, and quasar. Check the newsgroup for instructions.
  • Homework #6 (Word | PDF) is due Thursday 10/14 by 5pm, drop box in 240 Cory.
  • Lab 6 is this week (Hardware lab is next week). Please do the PRELAB before coming in, particularly on repeater design (see text book p.465-468). 

Week 5

Week 4
