Design
Open - open a netlist that hspice has been run on
Close - close a design
Current - select the current design to plot waves
Exit - Exit Awaves
Panels
Add - adds a panel
Hide - hides a panel from view
Delete Panel - deletes the selected panel
Delete Curves - deletes selected wave forms
Update - reloads hpspice output files (note: this way you will not have to close and open the file ever time you run hspice on the netlist)
Add Label - lets you add a label to your plots
Delete Label - lets you delete a label
Window
Full - zooms so you see all the wave forms
Various Zooms - just play with these to see how they work
Various Pans - just play with these to see how they work
S/O Mode - whether multible outputs will be on the same y-axis or on different y-axes
Measure
Point - single measure point
P to P - two measure points, allows you to take differences (just click-hold-move and release for the second point)
Delete Measure - deletes a selected measure
Delete All Measures - deletes all measures
Measure Label Options - lets you change the items displayed on the selected label
Measure Preferences - lets you change the control of measurements before they are placed
Anchor Cursor - lets you place a cursor marker on the waveform
Remove Anchors - lets you remove the anchors
Config
Open - lets you open a previously saved configuration (your waveform setup, all measurements, etc)
Save - lets you save your current configuration, nice to save and come back to everything you were doing later
Delete - lets you delete a config
Tools
Results Browser - brings up the results browser
Expressions - place your equation under Expression and your name for it under Result (note: you must use the right click select and middle button drag to place waves into equations)
Print - you can print single or multible panels, remember to select landscape and monochrome and if it does not print ot a printer, just print to a ps file and print that
Preferences - allows you to change the Awaves environment
Run Hspice - allows you to run hspice on your .sp file
