I am a PhD candidate at the Electrical Engineering &
Computer Sciences Dept., University of California, Berkeley.
My research area is protocol and system design for ad hoc wireless networks.
Currently I am working on developing energy efficient protocols (routing, MAC
and duty cycling) for wireless sensor networks as part of a project called Picoradio.
This is a system-level project led by Prof.
Jan Rabaey at the Berkeley Wireless
Research Center.
My undergraduate years were spent at the Indian
Institute of Technology, Kharagpur where I majored in Electronics and
Electrical Communication Engineering. And my
last six years of schooling was at The Scindia School,
Gwalior.
