Professor Vladimirescu's research area is simulation and modeling for integrated circuits and systems. His  interests include all aspects of the Computer-Aided Design (CAD) of electronic circuits and systems, with special  emphasis on the exploration of analog and mixed-signal design automation, component modeling and algorithms.  Related interests are in high-level simulation, interconnect modeling and analog and RF design and modeling. He is the author of "The SPICE Book" a text addressed both at students and professionals who use any version of the SPICE circuit simulator in their class or design work .
