Research Assistant

I have worked in high-level synthesis during my Master Degree from  1987 until 1989 at the Microelectronics group of the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS*). During this period I studied and implemented scheduling and allocation policies, such as force direct scheduling. I also implemented the internal data structure and accessing function for the automatic synthesis tools of the microelectronics group. As a class project, I implemented an RT level simulator in Prolog.

* UFRGS is the largest university of its state with nearly 35000 students. The CS department has one of the best PhD and MSc programs of Brazil. Its Microelectronics group is considered amongst the three best in the country.
