ARM POWER MANAGER ISSUES


B1) Ability to shut off 1.5v power supply (board)

B2) Ability to shut off 3.686MHz oscillator (board)

B3) Make sure all relevant pins are brought out (BATT_FAULT,VDD_FAULT, PWR_EN, GPIO<1:0>, RESET_OUT) (board)

B4) Ability to shut off Xilinx oscillator. How long to restart?

 

P1) Disable interrupts from peripherals in sleep mode (Xilinx, codec, etc).  Capability exists.

P2) Ability to reprogram Proxim after standby – probably just toggling Tx_Rx is sufficient.

P3) Wake up on what??

                Shutdown:             3 steps, ea 30.517us = 91.553us = roughly 100us

                Wakeup:                10ms ramp-up timer
                                              150ms if 3.6864Mz oscillator was disabled in shutdown
                                              ? to take DRAMs out of self-refresh mode

Idle Mode:

                ??? (fast – 10s of us probably)
