  Fall Spring
97-98

Enjoyed my first semester in CA, unforgettable days; but academically, a waste of time...

Need to make a decision; but a lot of times, we don't have as much control of our fate as we think...
Summer 98:Joined BJ group, working on Intercom project, decided to stay in Berkeley
98-99 A hard time in my life...wondering what to do next... Jan was in Europe, I was leading the new PicoRadio group, most of time confused what I was doing...
Summer 99: Worked in Ericsson in Lund, Sweden, on Bluetooth. Enjoyed a lot, but got a little bit bored to the end - desire to share beautiful things is human being's nature...

Summer 00:Took two trips back to China - Shanghai, Beijing, home, Guangzhou, Shenzhen...
00-01 Passed Qualifying Exam. Moved into my current den on Richmond hill, a gorgeous view of SF bay. Picked up painting for a while. In MFP, spent lot of time measuring the politics in Silicon Valley, and interviewing. --4/21/01
